Tulliemet is surrounded by historical gardens, regenerative farmland and wild moorland. There are lochs, glens, bothies and burns to explore right from the doorstep. Combining castle grandeur with all the comforts of a modern home: Tulliemet will allow you to gather with family and friends to enjoy everything that the Atholl Estate and Highland Perthshire has to offer.  Tulliemet is north of Dunkeld, an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow and within easy reach of much of Scotland’s attractions.

Antiques and paintings from the Atholl collection are mixed with luxurious interiors to make this the most welcoming of homes.

A grand drawing room and cosy sitting room allows groups to spread throughout the house.  The stair hall with piano and bar, is the ideal place for an impromptu party.  The large kitchen is perfect for relaxed lunches and leads out to a sunny terrace with a huge outdoor table, carved from a tree from the estate. The beautiful dining room can seat up to 18 guests for more formal dinners. The five grand bedrooms on the first floor all have large en-suite bathrooms with wonderful views across the valley, and the four smaller twin bedrooms on the attic floor, share further bathrooms.  There is a yoga room and meditation space for those who look for peace and a games room with a full-sized table tennis table and dart board for those who don’t! Or venture outside and play boules on the lawn.

The house was visited by Beatrix Potter and her family through the 1870s and the much loved walled garden now contains a wood fired sauna, private wild-swimming loch and of course, a few bunnies…

Atholl Estate offers foraging workshops, ranger tours and activities, Scottish piping and Castle tours. For the sporting enthusiast, salmon and trout fishing, deer stalking and walked-up grouse shooting.
