Traigh House sits nestled by the sea shore with stunning views of the Inner Hebrides. The beautiful white sandy beaches are only a hundred yards away.

Traigh House is a family home which is now being offered for holiday lets for selected weeks during the year. The house is situated in its own private grounds and there are approximately 500 acres of woods and hills to explore. The house also has its own private walled garden.

The house has a large reception rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, two open fires and a wood burning stove, plus excellent drying facilities in the oil-fired boiler room where you can hang up wet clothes.

Traigh Golf Course is within walking distance of the house and guests at Traigh House can benefit from a 50% discount off weekly green fees.

Traigh has an interesting history as during the early 1940s The Czech commandos used the house as an SOE training base!

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and at a weekly rate per dog.

We say...

Traigh House offers comfortable self catered accommodation for up to 16 guests. It is a comfortable family home with stunning views of the Inner Hebrides. The white sandy beaches are only 100 yards from the house.

You say...

We had a super time at Traigh last week. What a wonderfully mellow house and such a beautiful spot. We were blessed with fine weather despite a dreadful forecast and enjoyed every day on the beach. Everything was so straightforward and well organised in the house. Sharp knives in the kitchen, plenty of larder/fridge/freezer space for provisions, a super fire in the drawing room for cooler evenings and comfortable beds all contrived to give a most relaxing and enjoyable week.
