For fishermen, the River Tweed is close by, with prime fishing on the Tillmouth, Lennel and The Lees beats and there is a dedicated rod and boot room at the house and a separate freezer in which to store the catch of the day.

Salmon Fishing

There is superb fishing available on the River Tweed (pre-booking required), which has a deserved reputation as one of the world’s great salmon fisheries. While The Tweed is internationally famous for salmon, the river also has an excellent run of sea trout both in the summer and the autumn.
