The house provides comfortable accommodation for up to 14 guests on a self-catered basis. The house is ideally suited for golfing holidays, family holidays and for corporate entertainment.
The principle feature of the house is a magnificent first floor Edwardian drawing room, offering a superb view of the golf course and the Firth of Forth. The property has a beautiful large walled garden which offers direct access to the golf course and to the beach.
The West Links at North Berwick is one of the oldest and most scenic golf courses in Scotland. Founded in 1832 it is a classic links course which starts and ends in the town and runs along the coast in the direction of Edinburgh. The sea can be seen from almost every hole and and at several points it is possible for a wayward shot to end on the beach. Today the course is used as a qualifier for the British Open when it is hosted at Muirfield.
There are many other golf courses within a 10 mile radius of North Berwick, so St Colms is an ideal base for the golfing enthusiasts holiday!
For those non-golfing members of the party, the centre of Edinburgh is only 30 minutes away by rail, or 40 minutes by road, and the city offers extensive shopping facilities, sightseeing opportunities and a buzzing nightlife. St Colms also provides a great base for those wishing to experience the Edinburgh Festival during August.
