Scone Palace has an exciting and colourful history as one of Scotland’s most important stately homes. Fifteen hundred years ago it was the capital of the Picts. In the intervening centuries, it has been the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of the Kings of Scots, including Macbeth and Robert The Bruce.

The Palace houses an outstanding collection of antiques, paintings and rare artifacts and the grounds are renowned throughout the world, making it one of the most popular tourist attractions in both Perth and Scotland. Placed in the heart of Scotland and poised above the River Tay in Perthshire, Scone Palace overlooks the routes north to the Highlands and east through Strathmore to the coast. The Grampian mountains form a distant backdrop, and across the river stands the city of Perth.

Recently open to the market for exclusive use the Private Wing of Scone Palace combines The West Passage and the South Corridor.
Each Room has been individually styled and refurbished to reflect the traditions and stature of the Palace. They all look out over
the Park and have views of the Tay. Further details of each room is available.

The Balvaird Wing has an interconnecting door located at the end of the West Passage provides access to three further spacious
double, en-suite rooms, a large sitting room with dining table and dining kitchen. The apartment is within what was originally known as the Tent Passage due to its prism shaped ceiling. Having recently been renovated it is very well appointed and offers fresh, luxurious accommodation.

With over 100 acres of historic Parklands, the natural environment provides a stunning backdrop for outdoor activities such as laser clay shooting, falconry, and quad biking. Not only is the exterior stunning for our guests at Scone Palace, but the grounds and
gardens are also an experience and retreat in themselves. Residents have their own private gardens at Scone seen below along with the
entire Estate when the gates are closed to visitors.

We say...

The Private Apartment within Scone Palace is the ideal location for golfing breaks, country sporting holidays, wedding parties and short breaks.
