Newhall House is a beautiful property of historical interest, sitting amidst exquisite gardens. Perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats and special occasions.
Newhall has been home to generations of families since the 13th century. The main building on the Estate dates back to 1703, when it was constructed by David Forbes. The home has seen its share of additions and alterations since its extension in 1792, but it still maintains its elegant character. You can spot tributes to Allan Ramsay’s poem The Gentle Shepherd throughout the home and gardens.
The Estate is home to a collection of natural features, from waterfalls and caves to the surrounding woodland. The exquisite gardens, originally built in 1796, are still tended to by the family. Each season brings a new character to the grounds and often a fresh perspective with which to explore.
40 minute drive from Edinburgh airport.
