We really don’t know where to start with the compliments. We’ll try the hotel itself. What a wonderful building and how true it appears to have remained to it’s heritage. Welcoming, comfortable, interesting, characterful and special. Please don’t ever fall into the trap of making it into some sort of contemporary boutique luxury “same as every other” hotel offering. The hotel provided the perfect canvas for the masterpiece of hospitality and customer service that the management and staff created and delivered.Mr R McGregor, Hertfordshire

My guests and I enjoyed our stay tremendously, and I can't tell you how many favourable comments I heard on my choice of venue. I can't think of a better place to have celebrated my birthday and I am very grateful to you and the others at Greywalls for making it such a special occasion. It's difficult to know where to begin in saying what makes Greywalls so special. The house and the setting are obviously spectacular, but I think what sets it apart from other establishments is that it doesn't seem like a hotel, more like a country house with a superb staff. It would be invidious to single out individual members of staff for comment, as they were all excellent, but I felt I must make particular mention of Chef and his brigade. We enjoyed a series of fine meals culminating on Saturday evening in one of the most memorable meals I have had. The menu was beautifully constructed and brilliantly executed, at least that was the general opinion among us. I hope I will have the opportunity of visiting Greywalls on many occasions in the future and I think my guests have similar hopes. Thank you again.
