The luxury, award-winning five-star hotel is tucked away on the breath-taking Ayrshire coast in Scotland and provides an intimate level of service with genuine attention to detail. It has great beauty in its period furnishings and interiors as well as through the manicured gardens, forest, and the seascapes that surround that Castle, including views over the iconic Ailsa Craig Island, the Mull of Kintyre, the Isle of Arran and on a good day Northern Ireland.

Built in the late 19th century as a Scottish baronial Castle by Edinburgh architect David Bryce for a society family of the day, it is now a Relais & Chateaux property with a preposterously long driveway bringing you into a world of luxury and seclusion. Sleeping up to 42 people, with the possibility of overflow accommodation in the local area, Glenapp offers you a perfect Scottish Castle for an exclusive use throughout the year.

There are seventeen guest bedroom suites at Glenapp Castle. All of these suites are unique in their own style, all individually designed and lavishly furnished and equipped to the same high standard.

Thank you so much for arranging Maree and my birthday visit to Glenapp Castle.  Our stay was magical with everything being perfect. The actual day of my birthday we arranged falconry which was amazing.  We learnt so much about the beautiful birds from Rebecca who was both passionate and knowledgeable.  The staff went out of their way that evening and our joint birthday dinner perfect and memorable.
