Glasnock House is situated in the most stunning location with superb views over Lochcarron Estate. The house is beautifully furnished providing the ideal break away from it all.
Glasnock House has been built to a very high standard and the owner has spared no expense in the design and creation of this exquisite country house. It is located in an enviable position with spectacular views and less than 2 hours drive from Inverness Airport and 45 mins over the hill to Applecross.
You can explore the beautiful countryside and gorgeous beaches or enjoy the many activities available in the local area. Many people who visit do so to escape from it all, to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, and to enjoy the peace and tranquillity and the truly spectacular views – it is an ideal spot for walkers, photographers, artists, wildlife watchers and all those who simply enjoy touring and seeing the different views which appear around almost every corner.
Surrounding you are hills and Lochs and the deer graze right down by the house while the river bubbles past. You can fish from the banks of the Loch for native brown trout and you can walk for miles and see nobody.
The house offers extremely comfortable accommodation for up to six guests providing a master bedroom en-suite and two further double bedrooms, one converting into a twin, that share a large bathroom.

Ground Floor
Large fully equipped Kitchen with built in dining table and state of the art induction cooker, and has everything from Nutri Bullet Blender to Nespresso machine (complete with Nespresso pods). French doors opening onto terrace with spectacular views over the mountains and down to the loch.
Spacious Living Room with sash & case windows, window seats, wood burner, mood lighting, 65” HD TV with full SKY package including Movies & Sports.
Utility Room, W.C., drying room, large entrance.
2 Guest Bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin/convertible) with large bathroom.
Fully-equipped Gym with state of the art equipment, wall-mounted T.V. and floor-to-ceiling widows with incredible views.
First Floor
Upstairs to completely private large Master Suite. King-sized bed, walk-in dressing room, ensuite bathroom with W.C., large bathtub, double shower and his & hers sinks.
Extra guest luxuries include full sets of Neals Yard bathroom products, hairdryers in all bedrooms, luxury linens and towels, as well as towelling bath robes.

The 1 km private track leading to Glasnock House must be driven with care – a 4×4 vehicle is preferable but not essential (depending the time of year!)
Dogs
Maximum 2 dogs are welcome. There is the porch area and also a heated garage attached to the house by the link/porch where dogs can go. Guests are asked to bring dog baskets. Dog are not allowed upstairs or in any of the bedrooms, however, are allowed in the kitchen and living room provided they are not muddy!

- The famous Kishorn Seafood bar is just 4km away and plenty of pubs and new restaurants opening annually within 30km radius.
- Lochcarron is just 15km away and complete with an extensive mini-supermarket, petrol station, 24hr petrol pumps, cash machine, cafes, tearooms and pottery shops.
- We highly recommend guests visit the beautiful art gallery & painters studio in the nearby village of Achintrad.
For those who also like activities of a more energetic or sporting nature, there are ample opportunities for sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing (salmon and trout), deer stalking, mountain biking, hill walking and climbing.
Lochcarron even has its own 9-hole golf course to which visitors are very welcome. Clubs are available for hire and the club house has its own “Tee Rooms”!

Glasnock is a wonderful and special place; one that we'd hope to return to one day. It is definitely a place to go to get away from a busy life. In my opinion, ideal for a family. The house is clearly new, which is nice, and the owner clearly wants to ensure that her guests are comfortable - which we were. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. One night we had langoustines which we got in Lochcarron at the butchers - they were fresh and delicious. We can only dream/hope to go back one day.
