A beautifully appointed two-bedroom lodge alongside the River Alladale with stunning views all along the Glen. Ghillie’s Rest has been designed to offer an intimate Highland retreat providing easy access to the whole of Alladale Wilderness Reserve.
The wonderful dining area overlooks the river and mountains, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening meal after a day of outdoor activities on the 23,000 acre reserve.
Ghillie’s Rest is available for fully catered stays. Lunch and dinner will be prepared by the Estate’s resident chef, and delivered daily to your door. The Estate will liaise with you ahead of your arrival to plan your menu using locally sourced and fresh produce.
2024 Rate from £3,950 per week – inclusive of all meals for up to 2 guests, each additional guest is £350 per week.
Minimum stay 3 nights. Rate from £2,100 for 3 nights, inclusive of all meals for up to 2 guests.

Ghillie’s Rest has a superb living area which features high ceilings with a beautiful deer antler chandelier and wood-burning stove.
The accommodation is fitted with the latest Sonos technology, flat screen TV’s, free wi-fi and Skype. With a fully-equipped hand-made Scottish oak kitchen and Miele appliances, Ghillie’s Rest is finished to the highest standard.
Dogs allowed by prior arrangement. There is a £35 charge per dog.
