Ghillie’s Rest Lodge on the beautiful Alladale Estate offers very comfortable accommodation for up to four guests and enjoys wonderful views over the Alladale River and across the glen.
A beautifully appointed two-bedroom lodge alongside the River Alladale with stunning views all along the Glen. Ghillie’s Rest has been designed to offer an intimate Highland retreat providing easy access to the whole of Alladale Wilderness Reserve.
The wonderful dining area overlooks the river and mountains, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening meal after a day of outdoor activities on the 23,000 acre reserve.
Ghillie’s Rest is available for fully catered stays. Pre-prepared breakfast items provided. 2-course lunches and dinners freshly made by Alladale’s chef in the lodge kitchen using local and seasonal ingredients and delivered daily to your door, with simple instructions on how to heat up and serve.
2025 Rates
Low Season £3,300 per week – inclusive of all meals for up to 2 guests.
High Season £4,750 per week – inclusive of all meals for up to 2 guests.
Short Stay Rate from £1,980 based on 3 nights / 2 guests. 1 or 2 night stay may be possible; subject to availability/season.
Inclusive of private concierge service.
There is a weekly catering charge of £350 per person for additional guests.
Low Season | November – April (excluding Christmas and New Year).

Ghillie’s Rest has a superb living area which features high ceilings with a beautiful deer antler chandelier and wood-burning stove.
The accommodation is fitted with the latest Sonos technology, flat screen TV’s, free wi-fi and Skype. With a fully-equipped hand-made Scottish oak kitchen and Miele appliances, Ghillie’s Rest is finished to the highest standard.
Pet Policy
Alladale is a nature and wildlife reserve. Wild deer, red squirrels, ground nesting birds and other species inhabit the environs of our lodges; to this end we do not encourage dogs and other pets onto the Reserve. Exceptions can be made, please do speak to us to discuss your specific circumstances. Pets are charged at £250 each.
