For sale, Week 18, Carron & Laggan, River Spey – 5 rods.  A delightful 2.5 mile double-bank salmon beat on the middle River Spey, offering some lovely fly water for five rods and over 10 recognised pools to fish.  The fishing is operated on a reciprocal basis between Carron Fishing and the opposite Laggan Estate, ensuring complete privacy, alternating on a daily basis with 5 rods fishing on the upper beat & 5 rods on the lower beat.

The beat offers a variety of fishing suitable for both the novice and and experienced fisherman from fast flowing waters that produce both spring salmon and grilse to deeper holding pools that produce fish throughout the season.  The more experienced fisherman may chose to use lighter tackle to cover the water and to fish for the sea trout that arrive on the beat in early June, which coincides with Week 18 (mid-June).

Laggan fishings, close to Aberlour, is set in an idyllic valley, untroubled by public roads.  There is a very comfortable fishing hut, accessed from the private driveway, which has full cooking facilities, hot and cold running water, refrigerators, wood burning stove and a separate WC.  Ideal for dining and catering facilities and to enjoy a long lunch if needed!

The very comfortable Laggan House, which overlooks the river, has 10 bedrooms and accommodates a fishing party of up to 15 guests, and is included in the sale of Week 18.  The buyer would have an equal shared ownership of Laggan House.  There is a full time housekeeper included.  The house is situated at the end of a half-mile private drive.  Laggan House has a semi-commercial kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and large reception rooms.

There is a full time ghillie who will accompany your party throughout the week and operate the boats where required. There is easy access to most pools.
