Originally built in the 17th century, the house has been sympathetically refurbished to retain its charm while benefiting from some fine modern touches. The house has a warm and sporting feel to it and the evidence of its sporting heritage is proudly displayed on the walls.

Standing 200 feet above the River Tay, it enjoys glorious views across Strathtay, one of Perthshire’s most beautiful glens.

Edradynate is ideal for large groups and can accommodate up to a maximum of 16 guests. It has been comprehensively and sympathetically refurbished, retaining it’s charm while benefiting from some modern touches.

The large reception rooms enjoy stunning views across the grounds as well as open fires. The terraced garden, meandering stream and woodland make Edradynate House a wonderful location for holidaying.

Edradynate does not accommodate dogs/pets.

Edradynate House is situated in an elevated position with wonderful views overlooking Strathtay. A family home offering very comfortable accommodation in this sought after Perthshire location.

Accommodation

Ground Floor
The well proportioned accommodation comprises an entrance hall, spacious drawing room, traditional dining room that seats up to 16, large kitchen, breakfast room, sitting room with large flatscreen TV & Sky package, study, billiard room and gun room. Table tennis can be set up in the integral garage. There is also a piano and a guitar for guests to use. The house also boasts a beautiful conservatory which enjoy uninterrupted views across the gardens and with far reaching views beyond.

Please note that seating around the kitchen dinner sits a maximum of 14.

Sporting

Fishing
One rod on the River Tay can be arranged upon request subject to availability.

Trout fishing is available on Loch Derculich which is on the estate and situated 2 miles from the house. It is a lovely walk or access can be gained with a four wheel drive.  There are two boats on the loch comprising of a fishing kayak and rowing boat/sailing dinghy.

You must provide your own fishing rod and equipment.

There is also an automated clay pigeon trap for guests to use by arrangement.

Activities

The house is prepared for all types of Scottish weather there is a full size billiard table and table tennis table.

Off the estate, tennis, golf and swimming are available.

Loch Tay is a 20 minute drive and offers a wealth of water sports.

Guests can also enjoy a round golf at the member only Strathtay Golf course, courtesy of the corporate membership of the House.
