Conaglen Estate extends to 40,000 acres of the most breathtaking west coast scenery. Positioned across the Great Glen from Fort William, Conaglen offers the very best of west coast stalking so is an ideal location for a sporting or family holiday.

Conaglen House enjoys the charm of a traditional sporting lodge and following renovation it offers a high standard of interior decor, facilities and furnishings. Up to 18 people can be accommodated, but fourteen is probably the most comfortable number.

Salmon and sea trout fishing is also available on the Rivers Cona and Scaddle whilst two trout ponds are located conveniently near to Conaglen House.

In addition, boats are available for both freshwater and sea loch fishing (the latter by special arrangement) whilst a pitch and putt golf course is located in the garden grounds.

Cook and full house staff included. Food receipts are paid on departure.

Short breaks of 2, 3 or 4 nights are available and weekends too in low season. Prices vary depending on the number guests in your party and the number of nights.

We have now landed back in Perth, Western Australia some 3 weeks ago & now have sorted most of the problems that being away for nearly 5 months involve & would like to thank you both so much for all your input in helping us choose Conaglen for one of the best weeks of our lives, & I mean all 14 of us. We were lucky with the weather in Conaglen which put the icing on the cake. The staff were excellent, being able to mix friendliness with professionalism. The food was exquisite & the menu brilliant. Ross & John also treated us to some good fishing & walks & we were all very sorry when the week ended.Ross & Rosie Minchin, Perth, Western Australia

We all had a really enjoyable stay even though the weather was not very kind! Sandra and her indoor staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the house was spotlessly clean on our arrival and also every day. Claire and Casper were both accomplished cooks and the meals were to die for. We had a well known "cordon bleu" cook in our party and even he with his high standards was very impressed with the quality of the cooking and the presentation of the food. The outside staff Ross, Ian and Martin were extremely helpful showing us the best walks and the best stretches of the river to fish. I believe the fishing is underrated in Conaglen's website as we caught 3 salmon and a large number of sea and brown trout and were all very satisfied with the availability of a range of fishing to suit everyone. We have these "old friends" reunions every three years and last one was held in Kenya and the time before a week in Ireland and I think we all have high expectations and standards, both of which were surpassed by our stay at Conaglen and we all agree that we will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you all, at George Goldsmith for making our stay such a memorable occasion.

We had a great time. The staff in the house were extremely kind, and the cook is absolutely first rate.

We are safely back from an excellent two weeks at Conaglen. They have found themselves a very efficient and competent housekeeper in Diana. She kept everything running very smoothly and was completely unflustered by the arrival of an unexpected guest. They also provided a very enthusiastic cook, Merrell, who was quite a last minute addition but cooked everything we wanted. The weather could have been kinder but the lack of sunshine just meant that we had to climb rather more mountains than we might have anticipated. Just as well, given the amount of food that you consume when you have a cook. Kind regards Anna
