The ideal base for a sporting week or family holiday in the Cairngorms National Park, Coire Domhain is decorated in traditional Highland style – the muted colour palette of greens and grey’s mirrors the far-reaching views of the magnificent landscape on your doorstep. Walls are panelled tongue and groove, floors are clad in seagrass while soft tartan drapes frame the view.
Coire Domhain is in the heart of Glenfeshie Estate it enjoys far reaching views up Glenfeshie, over the River Feshie and beyond. Here you’ll see new native trees springing to life along the river and up the hillsides – a home for wildlife of all kinds. Glenfeshie sits amidst the wild surrounds of the Cairngorns National Park, which stretches across undulating mountain tops, expansive wetlands and thick, native forests, the national park is home to a rich array of wildlife and local culture.
Coire Domhain is a self-catering cottage sleeping up to ten guests in four double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. You’ll also find a cosy living space with a fire and a kitchen complete with Aga.
The farm office at Killiehuntly plays host to a little shop, where you can find curated food provisions as well as local spirits & beers to enjoy during your stay.

Accommodation
Coire Domhain sleeps ten guests in four double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.
There is 1 en suite shower room with WC upstairs, 1 upstairs bathroom with shower over bath & WC, 1 downstairs bathroom with shower over bath and WC and 1 separate WC in back porch.
The large sitting room has spectacular views of the glen, an open fire and selection of books.
The well-equipped kitchen has a large AGA, Dishwasher, Oven and two ring electric hob, Fridge/Freezer, Coffee machine and Washing machine/dryer.
The cottage is child-friendly and four-legged friends (max x2 well behaved dogs) are welcome by prior arrangement. There is a £20 charge per dog per stay.

Activities
The Cairngorms National Park is on your doorstep offering climbing and mountain bike riding in the Cairngorms and Grampians.
The nearby town of Kingussie offers a variety of places to eat and drink, and is a great base for activities including climbing, rambling, river walks, pony trekking, water sports and winter sports. It would also be possible to play on the 18-hole Kingussie Golf Club offering extraordinary views over the Cairngorms National Park.
Water Sports – Only a couple of miles north, Loch Insh provides a variety of summer and winter outdoor activities for all ages and experience. Sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and river trips in Canadian style canoes dominate the summer months, while skiing expeditions are available in the winter.
Riding – Newtonmore Riding Centre offers a range of excursions into the Cairngorms, hacking and trekking, pony club for children and carriage driving.
Rothiemurchus Estate offers a wide variety of activities including Clay Pigeon shooting, quad trekking, and river adventures.
