The Castle sleeps 55 in 24 individually designed bedrooms.  There are a further 7 luxury lodges on the grounds of the estate, increasing the accommodation capacity to 130 guests in total.

Plenty of space for entertaining in the large reception rooms, and and a fabulous ballroom with a minstrels gallery for ceilidhs and large dinners.

There is also a home cinema and sauna for guests.

Achnagairn is available throughout the year on an exclusive use basis and is ideal for large family reunions, holidays, parties, weddings, business functions and team building events.

Achnagairn is only a short drive from Inverness Airport.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
Achnagairn sleeps 55 people in 24 individually designed bedrooms
Every bedroom (except two) has its own individually decorated bathroom, whether private or en-suite.

Reception rooms
The reception rooms are elegant and spacious with original open fireplaces and wood panelling.
There is a vast dining room, drawing room, and a library.
The stately ballroom with minstrels’ gallery can seat up to 150 guests.
There is also a cinema, a table tennis room, a sauna and a beauty therapy room.

Courtyard wing
There is an entirely separate wing. This would be ideal for one or two family units within the larger group. It allows the smaller party a high degree of privacy whilst still feeling very much part of the proceedings. The wing comprises a independent kitchen, dining/living room and five bedrooms with bathrooms.

Luxury Lodges
There are 7 Luxury Lodges in the Castle grounds, bringing the total guest accommodation to 130.

The Grounds
The Castle stands in 15 acres of grounds with a river, woodlands and ancient trees. The beautiful formal gardens can be seen from all the principal rooms of the castle.

Activities

Given Achnagairn’s fantastic location in the heart of the Highlands, it will come as no surprise that there is a whole wealth of things to do in the nearby area.

Anything from hiking, cycling, whisky trails and cruises down Loch Ness can be enjoyed with Achnagairn as your base, and beautiful sights like Glen Affric, Urquhart Castle, the Caledonian Canal and three Championship Golf courses lie within a 45-minute drive.

From archery, to Highland Games, intimate whisky tastings, or even helicopter tours of Loch Ness the finest Highland activities can be enjoyed from your accommodation.
