Tomatin House is ideal for a family holiday with the benefit of salmon fishing for 6 rods on the Tomatin Beat of the River Findhorn. The house overlooks the river so it is easily accessible for a cast at anytime of the day!

We chose Tomatin House for a “Company Weekender”, a chance for everyone in the business to relax and maybe try some new activities. Skiing, shooting, horse-riding and spa treatments were all enjoyed in nearby Aviemore. The benefits of being at Tomatin House versus a hotel were numerous, particularly that we could enjoy board games in the huge lounge, all eat together at whatever time we chose, cook together and wander round the estate, the views are spectacular. The house really does have everything you need and Edward is the perfect host. If you are looking for ultra-modern it’s not for you, but if you prefer character, charm, the comfiest beds and lots and lots of space it really is ideal, even in snowy February the house was toasty warm which was a welcome surprise having stayed in very cold big houses before we anticipated the cold but loved the warmth. All in all perfect would thoroughly recommend – whether we are back as a team or as individuals with our families, I am sure we will be back.
