We had some marvellous days on Skye, in particular, with the walkers among us able to enjoy some stunning views from the Cuillins. We also had some leisurely lunches / suppers in Plockton, which never fails to entrance. The house was everything we hoped for and most of our party agreed that this was one of the very best we had ever had the fortune to find in over 20 years of hiring large houses around the Highlands. Certainly the views are unbeatable! Please thank the owner and housekeeper for making us feel so much at home. Many thanks for your help in facilitating such a really enjoyable week. We had a spectacular time of which most noticeable was the Wedding and our time at Duirinish. I have to tell you that had we known how special Duirinish Lodge was, we definitely would have spent more time there. We were both very taken by this beautiful area, and you should expect to hear from us for a follow up trip...hopefully soon. Thanks again for everything and to all the staff that were so helpful during our stay.
