Camusericht is part of a large estate which covers approximately 60,000 acres. Wonderful garden and grounds.
This is a generous country sporting lodge with luxurious facilities and the atmosphere of a large Scottish Highland home. It is a place to unwind and relax with friends either in front of the fire, round the swimming pool, playing snooker or enjoying a drink in the wide conservatory. Camusericht is furnished with fine antiques and art work, the reception rooms decorated in warm intimate colours.
The jewel of the Lodge is the large sumptuous heated swimming pool with its wide sandstone surround, vast baronial fire-place and golden waters. On warm days you can wander through the wide, open doors and sunbathe on the lawn. Up above the pool is a great billiard room and an exercise bike and some weight lifting equipment.
Spend the day on the hills walking, watching eagles and ospreys, or out with the game-keeper stalking or simply watching the wildlife, and return to deep steaming baths with a dram or two before being called to dinner served by the cook in a candle-lit dining room. Finish the day relaxing on deep sofas round the fire in the drawing room.
Camusericht Lodge overlooks the beautiful waters of Loch Rannoch and the distant peaks of Glen Lyon.
The rental also includes trout fishing on Loch Rannoch, Loch Ericht and Loch Leiden and on the River Gaur.
Stalking is also available by arrangement.
The property includes the services of a housekeeper. We would highly recommend taking on the services of a cook.

Fishing for Brown Trout, Charr and coarse fish such as Pike is popular in the area. There are a few salmon but these are not available for fishing as they are few and far between and should be left to repopulate the river and lochs. The building of the dams on the River Tummel in the early part of the 20th century prevented the salmon from coming up to their old spawning grounds and they are only just beginning to return after fish-ladders were improved. Therefore there is no salmon fishing in this area. Those wishing to fish for salmon should go to the Tay or lower reaches of the Tummel.
Stalking Head out to the hills with the keeper for a day’s stalking.
Lots to do in and around the estate, including taking the Harry Potter Steam Train from Loch Rannoch Station to Fort William where you change onto a steam train to take you to Mallaig, crossing the famous Glenfinnan viaduct!
