The golf course hosted the Open Championship in 1994 and is recognised as one of the finest links courses in the world. Blanefield is available for hire on an exclusive use basis with a full or self catered arrangement. There are many opportunities for leisure activities including the internationally renowned Turnberry golf course with its new leisure club, spa and clubhouse, field sports and yachting marinas.
